Possible to clear cheque anywhere in india?

Iam planning to move city.Iam going to update address of new place.But i want to know whether i can clear check from my old place even if i recieve to new address?.

Really cannot understand the question. If you are going to change address within country, I am sure there should be no problem. You may have to do a little extra documentation at bank though... Do try to keep same Bank. They can then easily authenticate your old address in their records. Your bank a/c is online, I hope, and your current bank does provide 'anywhere banking'?

You want to know whether moving house stops you from banking personal cheques?

Unless the banking system is India is very different to my understanding of it - and I've dealt with Bank of India so I'd be surprised - I can't understand why you'd even need to ask this question. What does it matter what the address was on the outside of the envelope that the cheque was in?
