Company gone into administration.

Can I get the money I am owed?

I am a Freelance Graphic Designer. I have been Freelancing for a company for the past 5 weeks, and I have just found out that they have "gone into administration". They owe me just under £3000. I have heard that the administrators will get in touch with me, but I am wondering if there is anything I can do to increase my chances of getting paid.

I don't have a contract with them, but have sent them the relevant invoices.
Any help would be appreciated,

Pretty unlikely you'll get the lot, but you may get something on the earlier invoices, if they were all appropriately completed etc.

If you have copies of any commissioning stuff from them, that might help.

But I'd not hold your breath - there will be plenty ahead of you in line, and most companies don't go into admin until the till is pretty much empty.
