eCommerce Credit Card Processing

who has the best rates and good service

We currently use the Verisign NOVA and Bank of the northern hemisphere, but we have been unhappy lately with the rates we have been given and are looking into other processors. Verisign works well for us for fraud verification, the nova system is just a gateway for funds verification, but who has some of the best rates and good service to do the actual billing and transfer of funds to our bank?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We currently use LinkPoint with LinkShield thru LoudCommerce. We did use Verisign for awhile but after comparison and costs, LinkPoint was a bit cheaper. About $25 a month and no extra transaction costs.

Of course, with Verisign, you get that Verisign logo which means something to some people and some think that it is a good item to have.

Well .. although we use Verisign as our initial gateway what I'm trying to find I guess is a reliable yet cheaper card processing. Verisign charges a few cents per transaction to do all the fraud detection (very necessary) but "The bank of the northern hemisphere" is killing us.

I guess what the question should have been who offers a good Merchant account.
