Best way to offer telephone support to another country

How can a business in one country offer telephone support to another one?

We are based in the UK and want to expand our website into other countries such as the USA, Canada, Austrialla, etc...

However we need to offer a telephone sales and support line to all our customers. If they are in the UK this is no problem, they just ring our 0870 number. However what is the easiest (and cheapest) way to offer telephone support for these other countries without them needing to dial a international number?

Ideally we would like to get a (for example) US Number which redirects to our UK number.

Try searching for 'international call forwarding' or similar.

There's loads of firms that offer this service. I know that Skype now does, among many others.

Also look into VoIP technology (Internet phone). A lot of U.S./Canada-based companies offer numbers in different countries as well in the U.S./Canada.

Usually, the companies will only ship the hardware (VoIP adapter) to U.S. addresses, but you are technically free to use it anywhere you want.

Packet8 provides a low-cost to make unlimited calls anywhere in the U.S. or Canada.
