I have a TV to the left of my desk. Most of the time it's tuned to one of the news channels but the sound is muted.

I've tried signing up for the various channel's e-mail alerts but the alerts are almost always hours behind breaking news.

If something looks interesting I'll stop what I'm doing to watch it.

That's how I learned about 9/11. The e-mail alert for 9/11 didn't arrive until the afternoon.

I live in Miami so during hurricane season I also like to keep up with what's happening in the tropics.

I have a tv right next to the moniter. It works great, especially when doing repetitive work.

I can't see it, but it is on. I enjoy listening to Judge Judy berating morons.

I have WinFast TV USB connected to my notebook to watch Fifa World Cup 2006 in Germany. It is making me unproductive.

I have a tv card in a second computer on my desk; I run the tv from it.
