What are good webmanager targets?

Question of a corporate webmanager just started on the job

Hello everyone,

This is truly a great website. I found this to be the first webmanagers website that satisfies my webmanager news nead.
My supervisor has asked me to come up with some targets. I manage a corporate .com website.

have any of you experience in this area?
I was thinking about:

* PDA version of the website
* Getting the site higher up in <snip>
*?

* Increase rankings in Search Engines like Google.
* Make the site more accessible.

I wouldn't bother with your PDF idea, I dont think it would be worth much.

I am working on a Euronext corporate website. There are more and more stakeholder that use their PDA's to get to elementary data of a company.

Google rankings are not really a priority over here.

rj87uk referred to PDF (as in Adobe Portable Document Format), I think he mis-read your post :) (well at least that part of your post)

By making your site more accessible and using (x)html and CSS it should be more PDA friendly as well.

Targets would be - if you are selling anything on the site:
increase on visitors + conversion rates.

If you are not
increase of visitors and enquiries generated through the website.
