I have this web application and great Web2.0 site and am thinking of putting the whole 'shebang' up for sale, but have no idea where you might 'plant seeds' for anything like that.
Anyone got ideas could they pls pass on. Are there for example any key sites that are better for this offer/sale/investment business than others?

Anyone know whether pre-advising on your site that you were going to put the biz up for auction on e-bay would be a good idea? Anyone know if that has been done successfully?

Yes,that way you can also get potential buyers from search engines and "website for sale" will be indexed by them
