Hi,

I'm developing a games website, and the person whom I developing for wants to install the system on other domains, I have charged him for 1 domain.
The question is how should I charge him for other domains? like softwares? e.g. for any licence should he pay me full amount?
Please help, I don't know what to do.

There's no particular standard practise that I know of on something like this, it's something that you'd normally negotiate with the client.

Well, my question is:

Is it all right to charge each domain the same amount I charge for the first one? like softwares such as WinXP licence. Is it reasonable?

Yes, if you want. Why not? I guess I'm not really understanding the question here - you can set your charges however you like.

Is it reasonable?

You can charge on whatever basis you like. If the client thinks it's too expensive, they'll buy from someone else.

It's the market that decides what's 'reasonable' for something like this.

First of all 10x man,

Well you right, I think so too, but I wanted to know what is the "law" in this case, but I can see that no one actually reply me, so I am gonna charge as I think it should be.

10x,
If someone still have suggestions, I will be glad to hear you out...

As far as I know there isn't any - you can set your prices however you like.

That's how a market-based economy works, if the government set your prices for you then we'd be operating under a quite different political system. You're not based in Cuba, are you? :) <joke>

I would have thought that the only laws on pricing were those which seek to avoid anti-competitive behaviour, but those aren't really relevant at all for a business of this size.
