but not quite what i'm looking for,

anyone know where i can find a blueprint for a
"Terms of Service"
for a website selling/shipping tangible goods, ideally from a UK perspective
to lay out returns policy, ownership of goods, in case of dispute etc

I am not very familiar with the UK's laws, but we recently had to develop our own TOS for a service-based business online. Being on a limited budget, we went to similar sites and looked at their TOS. Repeated that about 20 times, and made a list of everything we wanted to include. You will probably notice that they are all very similar (almost the exact same words) because of the proper sentence structure required for things to hold up in court. Then we typed our own. I believe it is pretty complete also, much better than a single template could offer. It does not mean that we made a bulletproof TOS agreement that would hold up in court, however. The only way to cover yourself is to get real legal advice.

and with that, a disclaimer:
Both myself and WebmasterWorld cannot make any guarantees regarding legal issues. You should use a lawyer in the UK to be safe.
