I have a client for whom I contracted a designer to design his site. I gave the designer the specs of his current logo, which he got from the stock clip art at Staples when he got the card. She came up with something different, and he love it. He said that he wants it for his own.
Do I charge for this? If not, then what if my designer charges me?
Please advise.

Ask the designer what s/he wants for it.
Bill the client this amount plus 10% profit for brokering the deal.
