Hello world,

I have been interested and involved in webdesign for over years now, and I have been active in developing my skills in the last three. However, I have been in the military for much of that time and never really got out in the real world to do websites. I just dillied in it. Well, I am know out, and have decided to use some salesmanship and go find my first clients. Tomarrow, I have my first consultation with a prospect, and I am wondering if anyone has any advice. Please do not mention money? I already have these issues covered, I am more interested in what the client may like to hear, and what subjects should I touch on.

Thanks

Aim to demonstrate how you'll be able to increase their profits. I.e. you're either going to save them expenses, or generate new sales. Ideally you'd be able to quantify this.

Yes, numbers are the best way to get your clients' attention. They want to know if this project can save them money or earn them more money. If it does both, even better.
