How to maximize the profit from a regional travel guide which get around 500 visitors and 1,500 pages v./day?
The site comes with around 100 original articles and includes various directories (for accommodation, restaurants, and various useful resources for the traveler).

Currently, the only revenue source is from AdSense.

How much would be the average revenue for a website with these features?
Thanks

Hi federico2005,

Welcome to Webmaster World.

Average revenues for any group of sites, even those in the same basic niche, are just about impossible to come up with. There's just too much variation between popularity of destinations and regions, size of the site (think Mom & Pop town guide vs. Citysearch), etc. I think it's always best to just start with what you have and not really worry about what you're supposed to make.

But a couple of quicks ideas for you would be to affiliate with hotel and restaurant reservation sites to try to grab some revenue from those sources. If there are major sports, concerts, touring Broadway shows, etc., a ticket affiliate might work. A local advertising program can also add a few bucks per month.
