web counter buisness?

iv recently been given a retail script for my bday wich is a whole site that basicly is a web counter buisness which gives you the options to set up your own site that supplys web counters you can supply a free counter and then the customer can upgrade to a more advanced counter for a set fee. what im wondering is is there much custom in payed counters? i know alot of people are after free counters for there free website hosts but i duno if i can imagin some 1 paying for a counter? what you think guys & girls?

Very difficult to market due to that space being so competitive.

Worth it just for the links if you can pull it off though. Lots of PR8+ and at least one PR10 counter sites around for obvious reasons.

I'd love to have a counter site purely as a promo link tool.

what u mean by prom link tool im new to web development but am currently developing another site at the moment could i use the counter site to link to my other site? thanks

Due to the way that link counters work, the main link counter homepage can end up with tens of thousands of backlinks. That makes it highly useful.

ahh iget it so then its high rated in search engins and also i could back link it to another 1 of my sites? cool
