Is there a Canadian government body that holds the financial records of incorporated companies?
Thanks

Try the Industry Canada website: [strategis.ic.gc.ca ] They are set up to help buisnesses within Canada and business who want to do business with Canadians. I believe that they have an email helpdesk, so if you can't find what you're looking for on the site, they should be able to direct you to the correct government agency.
Good Luck!

Private corporations do not have to release any financial statements to anyone, so you won't find them online anywhere. Public corporations have to release their financial statements quarterly, and for Canadian corporations you can find those on SEDAR (www.sedar.com).
