Hello!
I would like to invite you to write here your experiences about "managing Content Managers spread around the globus". Do you work in an international enviroment with offices in many countries, different time zones, differente languages and cultures?

My company is based in Germany and we have offices in Italy, Spain, England, etc. In each country we have a content manager.
The designers are in Southamerica, the programmers in ex-Yugoslavia.

We centralize our work using kind of help desk,we communicate with email, msn.

How do you manage when you need content changes in many languages at the same time? how do you coordinate? how do you check if the work was done, and if yes if it was done correctly?

Would be nice to exchange here experiences.
Regards, kubano

I have done this in the past. Where it was a non-English language, the country office used an external translation bureau to do the best translation, because we didn't want our own staff (English skills not too hot) misunderstanding an English word and saying the wrong thing in their translation.

How to coordinate it by time? It was never a problem -- the computer industry is accustomed to tight deadlines.
