I need to find a good small business Workers Comp plan for one employee in a New York based company.

Suggestions? Ideas? (yes, Googling away, but would like real world expierence)

I assume you are referring to insurance and the other benefits. Good luck, it is going to be hard and expensive. I live in NY and its no fun dealing with that stuff. You can get some quotes online, but benefits for one person is a hard thing to do.

Thanks for the info.

I have done some more research and you are right, not an easy thing all together.

Here are two places to start:

New York State Workers' Compensation Board [wcb.state.ny.us]. Click the "Employers & Businesses" tab for all the official background information.

New York State Insurance Fund [nysif.com]. Not-for-profit State agency that provides coverage. You can get quotes on worker's comp and disability policies.
