Hello everyone!

Another pack of question from 'newguy'

I`m running small company wich offer a mail support service and web-development. Our target customer - small or medium online busineses. The main question for me - how to find a client for theese services? I know that market is rather wide, but have no idea how to start up...
Another question: do we really need a web site to promote ourself? I know that it could help a lot, but i think we can work without it.

Thanks for your time.

I would think that promoting a web development business which caters to other web-based businesses would pretty much guarantee that you need a website of your own.

You need build a professional looking site which clearly explains what services you offer and how they can benefit your clients. For promoting it I'd suggest getting yourselves listed in as many directories as possible and maybe some search engine advertising such as Adwords. Check out the search engine promotion and marketing forums on these boards for more specific questions.
