Which software is best for managing the ads on your website?

Hi all,

I'm running a small website and now planning to earn some revenue from the website through some banner advertising. We shall be selling the ad space to various clients for advertisement. The issue is I dont have much idea as to what software is the best to achieve this.

I'm looking for the comprehensive software silution, which will help me out to:
1. Manage all kinds of banners, text ads, ad campaigns
2. Rich Media Support for Flash etc.
3. Separate Advertiser Login and Management
4. Complete statistics and reporting for impressions served and clicks.
5. Geographical targetting of ads.

These are the broad level requirements. I would really appreciate if I can get some guidance from real business GURUS.

I would recommend you to take a look at PhpAdsNew and Oasis, they both do all what you are looking for and much more, and best of all they both are for free. (We use PhpAdsNew on our website)

Along with this there are many commercial products too, but for sites with less than few million pages views a day, above should be great.

I will give a second plug for phpAdsnew. I used it for the first time a few months ago, and have been quite happy with it. As NeedScripts mentioned...it's really hard to beat free...especially when it's good.

Well I'm in a process of evaluating phpAdsNew as of now and shall post in my observation soon.

One thing I found missing is the support for POP UNDERS. Any idea as to how is this supported by phpAdsNew?

And how to refer to the Site capture or screen capture banner through phpAdsNew?

I'm still looking for these answers...
