Thanks.
But since you had the courage to ask, here's a freebie.
Lamps. Unbelievably overpriced in the retail world for incredibly inexpensive materials. But is anyone searching for lamps on the web?
Here's an even better idea. Study what people are searching for here [searchengineworld.com] and put your thinking cap on.
Thanks for the advice. I've done quite a bit of studying and I've found that not all searches result in the same amount of revenue. I'm currently getting averaging about $1.25 per click and was just trying to see if there were other industries where by having a good rank would generate anything close to this....Lamps, good tip. I never would have thought of that one.
Another affiliate program that can provide exceptional income is selling long distance service. I'm in one that doesn't pay a dime for the initial sale but offers a commission on usage from now on...
I'm reluctant to posts specifics in the forums but I'll email specifics if you'd like them.
Also, the home based business market is booming.. I don't think that needs much explanation. People are sick of the rat race, they want to work at home.
Target both these markets and you will win, I think. That's what I'm doing and it's working out quite well (email me if interested).
There are so many marketers out there hawking their information products. People put these things together in anywhere from a few weeks to a few months, tailor them to a market and get rich quick (well, it's not quite that easy I'm sure).
You might try some direct marketing style tactics (which can be witnessed all over the web), to get people interested in the books at your site and get a click out of them over to amazon. I haven't looked at your site.. Just a general recommendation.

"I haven't been able to figure out why the regulars in here aren't filthy rich already"
I know what you mean. Get creative and you can think of some durn good markets to target, and some even better things to do with that traffic. It's just a matter of being totally focused on your bottom line I feel (hell with SE stress if I can create a 6 figure a month income!). I figure, I'll bust my butt at this for the next year or so and retire or something.
Although I must admit it keeps me very busy and I do enjoy the challenge.
Why has no one started a meta-reseller?
Give you a cataglog of all the possibly resold products to sell through them? Then you could build sets of products, and resell package deal-eeos?

Don't know the eventual success with this kind of venture, but is giving it a try. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanx for the positive input!
Yes, I have access to the meta keywords as well as the meta descriptions. I loaded this site on a framed page, and optimized my noframes page tags as well.
I am in the process to make doorway pages which would all link to my index.htm, due to the fact that it would not be possible to link them to individual pages in the shopping cart (very long URL, and I also prefer visitors to end up at shoptronix.com than my fulfillment partner's URL.
I use Dreamweaver, icsave, WP Gold and dumptruck to create doorway pages and submit to SE'S.
I am actually busy with my 2nd site now which would sell power tools. I am using shoptronix as a test site but hope to generate some income from it as well.
Thanx again for all the valuable advice!
