I've just realized that you gotta pay tax if you do business online...I haven't made much from adsense last year, however I missed the deadline for filing a tax return to IRS (April 20th). Right now I'm getting significant income from adsense. What do I do now? Please help!

Ooops! It's actually April 15th.

Either way, get with a tax person as soon as possible and find out exactly what has to be done. Your tax liability for 2003 will depend on whether or not the income was above whatever the heck the cutoff is for filing ("haven't made much from adsense last year"). And don't try to handle it yourself, the few bucks for a bit of expert advice will be more than worth it in the long run.

And while you're at it, find out what you will have to do for this year. Depending on your status you might have to file and make payments quarterly.

(And they will also fill you in on whatever has to be done with the state and municipality, if applicable.)

So where do I find that "tax person" or accountant. What is a good place to get an advice. I don't want a personal accountant at this moment.
