I am doing research on the SEO market to write up a business plan and hopefully find funding for my SEO company. Do you guys know of any good sources or resources where I can find market research on the SEO industry?

The well-known SEO-related news and information sites should all have some of this type of info. You might also check the web sites of the big research firms like Forrester, Gartner, Jupiter, etc. I've seen some not-so-old studies on the industry at one of those sites.
