Effective Questionaires

Any tips to share?

Hi,

I'm writing a questionaire that will be to posted and emailed to companies and also put online on various sites.

The idea is to
1)get industry input on which features of a new product are most important to them
2)Get indication of available budgets for buying the product
3)hopefuly get some companies to be involved in beta testing

Des anyone have any tips/techniques that will increase the response rate of a questionaire?

What would make you/your company reply to a questionaire like this?

Tell them that the first 100 to sign up for Beta testing will get the "whatever" for free...?

Put subliminal tweeked soundfile in email with "do it" command built in....

Sorry once an adman always an adman ....even when youv'e quit the business it's so hard to lose the mind set .. ; ))
