What legal stuff do I need?

I've been looking everywhere trying to find information on this, but nothing online has anything relevant so I'm hoping you all can help.

I run a number of content sites. I don't sell any products, my income is through affiliate programs and adsense.

What is the best way to legally cover all of these sites and myself? Do I need to do anything?

Is there something I can do to consolidate all my sites and get some legal protection for all of them together?

I've been wary of starting things such as a forum etc. because of the legal info so any advice would be great.

I doubt that there are many lawyers on this forum, so I'd recommend that you consult a lawyer in your home state.

It may cost a lot, but in the long run, it'll give you peace of mind. Plus your questions will be answered in a lot more detail!
