Hello everyone,

I am currently thinking of changing my current (uk) host for a cheaper alternative as it currently works out too expensive. What I was wondering, is how important you think the issues of Uptime (SLA) and Backup (by the host. I do my own) are? Its just that i've come across cheaper hosts that will let me host a few websites but then I don't get these features. My target market is a small business. Are there any other things that you would definitely look for before signing up?

There do not seem to be many hosts that I can see that cater for my needs. Most reseller packages are too expensive.

Thanks

Matrix, you truly get what you pay for in the hosting industry. I run a hosting company myself and starting in a few weeks, we will be offering free daily backups of all files, because more and more clients like this peace of mind. Uptime is also very important, however if you want a guaranteed SLA, you will have to pay very high fees. Are you looking to get a reseller package or just a single account where you can host multiple domains that you own? If you have any more questions, you can send me a sticky message/mail, and I'll be glad to help you out.
