Can someone tell me which URL is more SEO friendly?
One that has an html extension or one that just ends with the directory/

For example:

www dsfdsfdsf com/test.html

or

www. dsfdsfsdfsdf com /test/

thx

http://example.com/test

But surely you going to end up with some people linking to you using / at the end and others won't use it (it will still lead to the same result), and how would that affect things like PageRank?

Well it could be fixed with a permanent redirect but for now it takes people to an error page. If people don't know how to copy or check the url's they are linking to from their site, then maybe I don't want such a low quality site linking to mine in the first place. It's a copy and paste world. Why would someone manually go through and change URL's anyway?
