A CMS which can integrate my preferred forums, wikis...

Hi.
I'm rather new to Content Management System(CMS).
Just wonder if there is a CMS which suits my needs to manage my websites, but at the same time let me integrate my preferred things:
- forum software (eg Invision Pro Board) [most wanted]
- wiki software [most wanted]
- blog software [still desired if possible]
- poll & survey software [still desired if possible]

I'm not a programmer nor techie. Thus I don't know how to modify codes myself unless there're clearly outlined step-by-step tutorials which teach me how to do.

Does any CMS can satisfy my needs?
Any advice?
Thanks!

Welcome to WebmasterWorld, Wai_Wai.

Have you searched over the forums here for CMS and "Content Management"? There have been numerous discussions. Most folks end up realizing that there is no quick answer and you'll have to evaluate what best fits your needs/requirements.

Hi.
I have searched a bit.
They are discussing about the best CMS, or which CMs they suit best.

I'm asking about the integration problem between my CMS and some of my software. So what I would like to know is:
- how to do these integration? How does it work?
- Any CMS has the ability to integrate my software?
- Suggestions about how to get these reosucres, or which CMS is the best for this requirement alone?

Hope you see what I intend to ask now.
Thanks.

Most CMS systems only work with the components that they 'ship' with. Without programming it will be hard to get them working with other software you have, unless you're happy with just linking one to the other. That being said some are configured with software you might already use, like phpbb for example.
I think you'd have to learn some programming or hire a programmer to make several disparate programs work together...

It's not what I want :"(
Simply linking is not the best option.

I would the best bet is to hope a plug-in (for that software) is developed, so the integration is possible.

I think your best bet is to head over to [cmsmatrix.org...] and see if any of the packages there already include the software you use. Otherwise you're going to have to either hire a programmer to stitch your existing software together or switch over to those included in an existing CMS.
