Recently i tried to subscribe for shared hosting. 3 companies asked me for sending copies of car driver licence and copies of credit card. Is it same for all web hosting companies ...? if not plz tell me name of these companies Thank You.

I would be a little worried if they asked me to give them a copy of my driver licenses and credit card, go else where. They have no reason to ask for that. Visit a web host such as Yahoo! web hosting, WestHost or IpowerWeb, none of those ask for that, just put your credit card number in and your done. There are also web sites that list several web host and rate/reveiw each one, that should help you decide where to go.

Ipowerweb and Ipower are same company. I tried Ipower and they asked me to send licences and ID card :s
