Best Software for Images Gallery

I am looking for a good free software to create an image gallery for my catalog. I tried download.com - but there are a bunch of them resturned. Does anyone have any recommendations for the same. All help is appreciated!

I was looking for something which can help me create a gallery on my pc and upload it on the server directly as html code.

I've seen that feature in a number of the consumer oriented graphic programs. The quality of the HTML varies. Photoshop Elements is one package that I know has this feature.

I would recommend JAlbum as the best application for creating static HTML photo albums:

[jalbum.net...]

It requires Java to run the program on your machine (so it is cross-platform, Windows, Mac, Linux), but the site visitors don't need anything other than a standard browser. Very good, and free!
