Hi,
I have received a lot of newsletter from time to time. Can I know how is the program work? Is it they send through email? or they use some application to do that? how they keep their customer email address?

If I want to have my own newsletter, how I do it?
Any information about this?

Thanks.

The answer is, "it depends". Small newsletters (up to a few hundred subscribers) may well use a regular email program and a "distribution list". Larger newsletters are probably sent with some dedicated program, and the email addresses are probably stored in a database. There are also companies that send out newsletters for third parties.

If you want to start your own newsletter, consider things like: the number of subscribers (and the expected growth); need for customization/personalization; HTML and/or plain text; need for tracking open and click through rates; CAN-SPAM compliance; ease of subscribing/unsubscribing; etc.

Good luck!
