mirroring website on subdomain?

I'm looking to mirror my website (quite large - about 400 pages), on a subdomain - minus the shopping cart. Basically a resources site - a subdomain of products and publisher information only. Then there will be links to purchase/more info that will point to the main site. I would love any recommendations on this. Is WinHTTrack a good option (website copier) for something like this? Thank you.

There are many examples of why mirroring your web site will lead to problems. Search Google or Yahoo and read the horror stories. Just build content to your site and things will work out over time. IMHO.

thanks for advice.. I've changed my approach a little to the subdomain route so it is not an exact mirror - rather further information of the products that are on the main site.
