I contacted AWeber's customer support, and they couldn't find anything wrong. We both tried a test email to different ISPs; both worked.
Many of the unverified addresses are AOL, but I also have several verified AOL addresses, so that doesn't seem to be the problem. Several unverified addresses are yahoo.com, and I have no verified yahoo addresses, but AWeber tested a yahoo address they use, and it worked fine.
Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with this?

Newsletters and Avoiding Spam Filters [webmasterworld.com]
another thing to do might be to bug the emails so you can see how many are getting opened and that would also help to know if it was a specific provider.
