On checking through the company’s computers, most of them have numerous cookie files present. Are they harmful to us? Can you spell out some guidelines for all users to follow to avoid unnecessary inconveniences to the company. thanks a lot!

for the most part cookies are used for user tracking or login.
you could try something like adaware to see (and remove) if there are any malicious cookies on the computer in question
