I have been encountering a problem recently. I am getting a scroll bar on some sites, which alone isn't that odd. Now the funny part is that the left side of the web site is being cut off. I can't scroll over there; It is just totally lost to me. My screen resolution is 800x600. Do you think that certain site designers set it up for 1024 and, if I want to see it, I'll have to raise my resolution?

Looks like someone's centering their page content using this bit of CSS: [webmasterworld.com...] I use it myself, but stick to making it visible down to 800x600.

Another of tedster's fantastic CSS hacks, but sadly miss-used; you will indeed need to increase your resolution :-)

Great, I'm not thrilled about that. I think that anything smaller than 800 x 600 is much to hard to see. Frankly, it gives me eyestrain.
