Where do I go to sell my site?

If I'm looking to sell my network of sites and looking for serious offers in the 6 figure range (min. 12X monthly profit), where the heck do I go to find buyers? PM with URLs or give generalities here. Haven't seen any webmaster forums where a big network of sites gets sold for these prices.

Some sites have been sold on eBay--but I doubt for very serious money.

Just a thought, but could WW not think of starting a new forum for this? I see that there is currently a commercial forum, would this be suitable for such a thing? As it stands, it's only for services offered and help wanted, not site selling.

There seem to be new posts regarding buying/selling sites every few days, so there does seem to be a demand for it. Just a thought.

More on topic, I saw a site on Sitepoint get sold for mid 5 figures the other day, so you might possibly find buyers there? Some of the bidders seemed to have quite a bit of cash to spend...

eBay had some famous domain name auctions too.

Note: I have personally never used these services to sell/buy domain names, so I cannot give a personal recommendation. However, they are quite well known.

You may wish to try the Sedo (sedo.com), although i've had domains on there for a long time with no success.

I'd avoid eBay as nearly every website on there are generic dating sites, or poor template sites. Frankly I find searching on eBay for web sites a real bore!

SitePoint.com has a category for site for sale in their forum under Market Place. It does cost 9.95 to post the ad though.
