403 Forbidden Message

Keep getting message when trying to set up blog

Hello I am trying to add a blog to my website and when I created a directory it appears I am not authorized to view the pages due to password protection or something. Actually not sure what the problem is.

when I try to view it I continue to receive these 403 Forbidden message.

Can someone please tell me how do I correct this problem.

You need to check the permissions of the folder in which the blog was installed. It should be chmod 755.
