Everyone knows that google loves content. I have read in most cases that it is a good idea to add one content article a day. A few times I have added like 10 pages on monday. Does this mean I shouldnt add anymore content for 10 days. Or should I continue adding one content article a day. Just wondering bc one time I added 56 pages of content in 10 days and I drop on google from number 7 to number 18 in a period of 10 days. Any advice would be great.

You're taking it far too literally - Google doesn't care how many pages you add in a particularly day.

The idea of adding 1 page per day was to encourage you to keep expanding your site and therefore keyword market, and to a smaller extent to achieve "freshness" so spiders visit you more regularly.

Do you have any advice to why I dropped from number 7 to number 18 during the 10 day period I added 56 pages of content. It took three months to get there and then I dropped in 10 days. I am back up to number 12 but I thought that it was strange.

Doubt it's related to the new content being added - more likely some other factors (update, increased competition, etc etc).

Potentially adding a lot of content at once could raise some flags, but redesigns, content investment, etc are fairly common so I can't see Google penalising for that.
