does a script exist that could be used for this?

ok, i'll try and explain what I am hoping to achieve.... and i'll try and explain without confusing me or you.

I have around 10 domains which i use for various sites. Some for my hobbies, some for my business, some for affiliate marketing and some for just general 'stuff'.

What I am looking for is preferably an open source script which I can use on one domain. Within that site I want different sections/categories to fit the areas covered by all my domains.

For instance, I have my blog sites, one a general blog, and one more specific to a hobby. Both would require an image gallery to go with them. Then I have my business site where it just holds info and examples of my work. Then I have my affiliate marketing type sites. These are sites which will contain both content and datafeeds plus landing pages for PPC.

What i'd like is when someone goes to www.myfirstblogsite.com it looks different to www.mysecondblogsite.com and www.mybusinesssite.com looks different to www.myaffiliatesite.com but hey are all managed under the one system... kind of thing.

does something like his exist? could maybe movabletype or something similar be tweaked to do this?

The reason i'm doing it is because it's getting to be a pain managing all these websites where all i'm basically doing is posting content in a certain style to be displayed for certain sites.

I don't know whether i'm being too clear (it's getting late) but does anyone have any suggestions?

it looks like wordpress might be a good solution, so i'll investigate that....
