Is there a deep crawl happening now?

My unique visitors sky rocketed today.

Wondering if someone can tell me if there may be a deep crawl starting today?

I ask this question because my unique visitors in the last hour skyrocketed and there is no explanation for it.

Any thoughts?

I think only you looking at your logs will be able to answer that. There are so many bots out there now, and they will be hitting different websites at different times, so even if someone else is seeing a lot of hits on their site, it might be due to a totaly different bot.

We noticed 3 days ago the hits increased a good amount. Does anyone else see this?
