erasing history

i'm stumped

i was just wondering if anybody in here knows how i can remove my search history from googles search box? this is somthing i'v never been able to figure out no matter how hard i try. so...anybody know, or is it even possible?

I just click on the word Google bringing down a pull down menu and select "Clear Search History"

do you mean the google toolbar if so
click the google logo and select "clear search history"

if you mean when you visit www.google.com it depends on what O/S - Browser you are using.

Aaahhh god i feel stupid. as soon as i posted my question i went back to google and figured it out immediately. and it had nothing to do with google, i just had to ajust my settings on internet explorer. gosh i feel dumb.
