Converting Multiple PDF files into one pdf file using Batch Processing

I basically have 5 folders containg pdf files that have been saved on the basis of their id numbers.pdf.

I would like to know how to take 5 different pdf files and convert them into 1 pdf file not maually but using a batch process that pulls in the files on the basis of their id numbers.

Welcome to WMW Craig.
I went out and did a little poking around and came across a couple plugins for Acrobat and a some stand alone stuff but nothing that works with batch processing.

There are some perl scripts and so forth that can create pdfs - perhaps something like that could be modified to suit your purposes. I'm not a coder so that's a little out of my depth though.
