Is there a way of checking whether urls reside in bad neighbourhoods?

What's needed is a map of bad neighborhood sites. But that becomes an issue of determining who is, and who is not, a bad neighbor.

Added: You might consider some of the url filters in places like the public library or parental control software would at least be a start to determining bad neighborhood status.

My main thoughts were based on me being in the process of buying an existing domain and wanting to check the neighbourhood.
