What's your biggest traffic day?

Speaking of net days, what is everyone's busiest days for traffic? I know it's been discussed before, but I would like to re-visit the issue.
What is the busiest day here, Brett?

(I thought it was a good topic, so I split us off over here md).

Usually, Tuesday or Wednesday are the largest days here.
Monday 3rd, Thursday, Friday, and the weekends drop over 60% (sat, sun - tied).

This week however, monday was huge due to the big news stories on monday.

Monday 17%
Wednesday 16%
Thurdsay 15%
Friday 15%
Saturday 10%
Sunday 9%

Glad you brought this up, mdh. Monday has historically been my big day and still is when counting total pageviews across all content. But I recently noticed a strange blip on the real estate company site, Sunday has been the top day of the week for a few months now and Saturday is gaining all the time. Friday is still the low point, that's the one thing that has remained unmoved, either across the whole network or on the individual real estate site.

As for the Saturday-Sunday up trend, I'm assuming its the big increase in home use that's starting to show itself.

Monday is my biggest day, send out whatever sunday evening, then everyone hits up the sites on Monday. works like a charm ;)

my busiest site has a leisure / recreational theme, does about 5,000 pages per day (~60,000 basic hits/day).

Results +/- from average look like this:

Sunday +15%
Monday 0
Tuesday -5%
Wednesday 0
Thursday 0
Friday -10%
Saturday -20%
(based on ~3years data)

Odd that Saturday's the worst day for this sort of site?

My traffic is split as follows:

  Sunday  14%
  Monday  16%
  Tuesday  15%
  Wednesday  14%
  Thursday  13%
  Friday  13%
  Saturday  14%

I get a 25% decrease from norm on friday and saturdays, with a sunday being just as busy as any other weekday (educational site)

the biggest noted difference is that low traffic days also produce lesser page views per person, perhaps people surfing more sparingly for such info during this period :) though may be different for other niches

Wednesday is still our best day and now Saturday beats Monday for fourth place.

For a band site - Weekends are slow, activity peaks Wednesday/Thursday, usually afer our newsletter goes out, except if there's a big event on the weekend, in which case it'll be just as busy or busier on Friday.

This is for a technical site:
Sunday - 6.9%
Monday - 24.6%
Tuesday - 22.9%
Wednesday - 15.9%
Thurday - 13.4%
Friday - 11.2%
Saturday - 4.7%

Strangely enough, Thursdays bring in the most sales.
