A better question would be how much could you make for yourself if you could dedicate 40+ hours a week to putting up your own 26 site and managing and maintaining them.
Do you do any web work for yourself currently? Are you making any money at it? If so, try to estimate how adding another 40 or so hours a week to your own projects would impact your earnings.
My train of thought here is that depending on where you live, your education, the corporate environment etc. etc. you could be making anywhere from 5K to 100K a year doing what your doing.

I'm sure if you google long enough you'll find some census stats that may get closer to your answer.
So many people never ask, you'd be surprised how often it works.
Make a good case, don't look as though you are playing them off against others, just make them aware of your worth.
Obviously a small percentage of bosses are idiots and may object to the request so you need to think if you have such a boss before going for it.
Let us know if you get 10, 15 or 20%.
