hi,

I'm using Flash (imported an movie into flash file)for my first page of my webpage. When user visit my webpage, the first page take a long time to load. Any idea of how to reduce the loading time?

If I want to have a loading precentage (like shown in flash game) show while user waiting for it..how to do that? any tutorial?

thanks.

I highly recommend not using a Flash intro on a site. My philosophy is a user should come to your site and within a second or two know precisely what the site is about. Your logo in the top left should say it all. A flash intro, while cool, may lose you visitors. It tends to prolong the message of the site's topic. Graphics fade in...then some text... The worst is when music starts blaring when you open a site.

If you do still want one, search for a tutorial on Flash preloader. Flash MX has some built in preloaders. Make sure you place it before anything else that requires a lot of loading time (music) in the timeline.

Good luck!
