Hosting and Logs

My host doesn't give me direct access to my logs.

My host doesn't give me direct access to my logs. If I want to use a third party log analyzer, I have to manually login to my hosting control panel and download each day's logs individually to my computer. This is a major pain. My log analyzer ought to be able to automatically download my logs and analyze them.

Can anybody recommend a good, reliable, and relatively cheap ($10 per month) host that allows direct access to logs?

Before you switch hosts, why don't you ask your current host if there is a way you could have direct FTP access to your logs.

I had a host that worked the way you describe, and when I talked to them, they set it up so I could get to the logs.

You never know ... it might work.
