Standard way to deliver videos to other sites?

My company recenly started to create high quality travel internet videos. After we produce the internet video, we will host the video on our own media servers, and proliferate links to the client and the travels sites we have formed strategic partnerships with. My question is this, how do we deliver links to the massive travel sites in a way that seamlessly integrates with them? Is there a standard way to do this, or will all sites need a unique, hand-crafted links for them to add to their pages?

The good news is the latest stats I saw were that 94% of internet users have either Windows Media Player or Quicktime. The bad news is that you still have to support both formats. That doubles your work.

I would then have a splash page where a user could choose the format and send you to the next page where the video is embedded. That way you could send your clients one link to the splash page and not get caught up with embed src code and dual formats.
