TITLE TAGS in HYPERLINKS

Are they legit or will they generate penalties?

Hi:

I have some pages on my web site that were sandboxed. They are now out of the sandbox but they will go so far and no further in the SERPS. I am really not sure what else to do. I have a good network of links, keywords in the right places and solid content but they still won't move any higher than about a 30 - 50.

Would using title tags in my hyperlinks hurt or help?

A HREF="httt://www.mydomain/specificpage" title="blue widgits, red widgits, green widgits">

Thanks.

Title attribute text won't hurt and won't help you either. They could help your visitors, though.

Remember that the title will show by default as a hover behaviour, so make it readable, not just a keyword list:

... title="More about our red, blue, and green widgits">
