I've just received a batch of official looking invoices from Cambridge UK address.

They are for £35 each for submitting 8 keywords to 20 search engines.

In fairness and for their own protection they write at the bottom;
"THIS IS NOT A BILL. THIS IS A SOLICITATION....

I've just noticed the date on these innvoices is April 1st, although its not their intention to send out these on April Fool's day, I wonder how many fell for it.

I've received those last year. They gave the impression they were proper invoices. I suspect thatthe change was becuse other people did what I was intending to do, which was contact the police.

It's just this side of legal.

I received a big batch, I'm expecting more because of the large number of domains. When I opened the first one, I thought it was a renewal reinder but I only pay £5.00 for a .co.uk for two years. When I read it more I realised it was a tad short of a scam.

I really hope others don't get caught out.
