different products' digests features

I'm looking at different listserv packages and was wondering if there's anyone out there with a lot of background in configuring and setting up different listserv products. One of the features we're looking for is a robust digest. The ability to set frequency of digest based upon X number of messages and have the digest's header/footer automatically change with each new digest.

That's tall order Billp - we don't use anything as comprehensive and sophisticated.

Perhaps you'd have to write something to do that for you.
