Hi there, I’ll say it in short. I want to provide an opt-in email list. What are the softwares I should get and how. I want to keep the size of list to 300 or so. And besides this what other options I have.

I use Dada Mail, it's free and does the job.

This is more of a service than a software, but I love the ease of use from Constant Contact.

I personally like the open source (free) MyMail php/mysql script. It is still in BETA, but still gets the job done for my list of 1000 subscribers, so it should work with your 300 easily. You can find it on hotscripts.
